CryoVR is completely free for academic purposes.

Installation instructions:

To install and run CryoVR, please follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure an HTC Vive or Vive Pro is available and ready on your desktop. (To learn how to set up Vive system or test if your computer is qualified, visit here)
  2. Download the newest version of the CP3 or Vitrobot application from the links below.
  3. Extract the downloaded zip file to a folder.
  4. Run “CryoVR.exe” or “Vitrobot.exe” from inside the extracted folder.
  5. The module is now ready for use with instructions provided within.

Our efforts will be focused on ensuring long-term sustainable development for CryoVR. We are working with the Purdue Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC) to arrange a proper dual-license for CryoVR.
